As a result of the photo of Jessica Chobot licking a PSP, she (real name Jessica Lynn Horn) shot to stardom online and ended up being featured in Ask Men as the 88th most desirable woman in the world, getting hired as an advice columnist for Maxim magazine and securing a spot as the anchor of an online video show for IGN.com called the Daily Fix.

Jessica Chobot became an overnight internet sensation when a tongue-in-cheek modeling photo of her appeared online licking the Sony PSP in 2005. The photo has been widely parodied since, even appearing on Sony-branded advertising. Supplementing her love of videogames is an obsession with Japanese culture, specifically anime and manga. In 2006 Chobot was hired full-time by IGN.com to take over hosting responsibilities for the network’s IGN Weekly show which is no longer running. If you’ve been on the social media scene for more than a few hours and you don’t know who iJustine (Justine Ezarik) is, then you ain’t on the right social media sites.

Anyway, Justine has made a lot of very entertaining videos over the past few years and actually turned her video skills and social media prowess into a successful career. In the video below, she walks us through the process she goes through to make some of her videos.

Yeah, you watch iJustine’s videos and think she’s successful because she’s pretty and funny, but both those are just a small part of the equation that makes up her success. The real key is the hard work and dedication that goes into even just a minute or two of the end resulting footage. For every minute of video that ends up on your computer screen, she’s spending hours, sometimes days in front of her computer screen, editing, mixing, converting and whatever else needs to be done.

So credit where credit is due – you have to admire her for sticking with the whole online video and social media thing and building it into a successful brand. iJustine’s job ain’t as easy as it looks.

It must have been rough being a wife in the 1950′s. Marriage for women back then was all about satisfying their man and if his coffee wasn’t fresh, watch out!

But alas, there was hope. Ads served a double duty back then by both creating awareness of products, and educating women on how to avoid abuse in their relationships.
