A group of Dwarfs in China who are tired of being bullied, trampled on and being unemployed due to society’s lack of understanding about their condition has started a town of their own. The requirements to live in the town? You must be 4’3″ or less in height, dress in fairytale clothing and live in a house shaped like a mushroom.
“As small people we are used to being pushed around and exploited by big people. But here there aren’t any big people and everything we do is for us,” said spokesman Fu Tien.

The commune in southern China, called Kunming, even has it’s own fire department and police force.
